Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Capital Accounting Assistant. This is a new post, reflecting the size of the Trust’s capital programme and the requirements of the newly implemented leasing standard.

The post holder will have sound knowledge of financial and accounting procedures. They will assist the Capital Accountant and will also advise finance and non-finance managers on matters relating to capital expenditure.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

To succeed in this role at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust you will need:

• Equivalent knowledge and experience to an Accounting Technician Qualification
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
