Responsibilities within the proposals function will include managing and compiling quotations and tenders from initial client contact through to purchase order contract review, with responsibility for the management and preparation of quotations, including the coordination of negotiation activities.
Upon receipt of a Proposals complete a detailed contractual review and prepare a handover package for executions.
The execution function has responsibility for processing the order onto the SAP system and following up with client order acknowledgement information including the supply of documentation.
Throughout the execution of the order the function requirements will be to control the progress of the order line items against milestones including procurement, manufacturing, inspection and release.
This role also provides technical knowledge, advice, and support to a global client base of contractors, fabricators, valve manufacturers, strategic partners and end clients during the sales process to resolve requests and gain technical clarity regarding product/service technical issues and to maximize the benefits derived from the connectors wide product portfolio.
Demonstrates a professional approach throughout the sales process and especially so during interaction with Snr managers of client base and internal stakeholders.
The role requires a broad product knowledge and use of judgment and experience to solve technical and commercial problems.

Have a good understanding of the type of manufacturing processes, materials and procedures involved in the product range. Have the capability to relate to these processes when dealing with client quotations and expectations.
Capable of understanding technical drawings, data sheets and specification documents.
Confident and effective communicator; written & oral, able to communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and peers at all levels.
Able to quickly take ownership of customer requirements and using own initiative, make decisions and problem solve using the tools and resources available.
