Job Description
The Financial Controller based in Cambridge, will have a relevant degree (ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified) and preferably have worked in technical or manufacturing industries. You will have proven experience and will have the opportunity to develop and grow the Finance function and rapidly develop to a more Senior role.
The Financial Controller, Cambridge, will provide monthly management accounts, project budgets, quarterly grant reports and report and analyse any variances and deviations from budget and forecast. As well as responsibility for annual budgets, 5-year forecasts and rolling forecasts, preparation and drafting of VAT reports, annual Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax submissions.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate for the Financial Controller job in Cambridge will be a Qualified Accountant (ACMA, ACA, ACCA). Have experience in project accounting and Business Unit reporting and ideally have worked in a Blue-Chip organisation(s) and SME's.
