Provide high quality administrative support to implement the delivery of the faculty research programmes throughout the student lifecycle, from application to graduation.
This includes assisting with procedures including confirmation of candidature, end of Year 1 monitoring, progression, Thesis submission and Viva Voce
Assist with the creation and maintenance of student records for all postgraduate research students, liaising with central departments when necessary.
Assist with processing bursaries and scholarships through the central university systems.
Assist with the production of student handbooks using templates.
Schedule, organize and deliver support to meetings or committees where required to include minute taking, creating action trackers or noting and chasing actions.
Respond to queries from academics or students on postgraduate research related issues.
Manage the team email account.
Archiving material as required.
Ensure student attendance monitoring policies are applied as relevant to PGR students.
Responsible for the preparation and printing of committee and other papers as required.
Attend and contribute to meetings, events or networking sessions as appropriate to the role.
Ensure all activities are carried out confidentially and diplomatically, demonstrating an awareness of Data Protection Regulations and University policies and procedures in relation to all students and student information.
Assist with the coordination of Teaching Assistants and Student Demonstrators across the Faculty.
To contribute to a culture of change and continuous service improvement within the Faculty.
