Job Description

You’ll be responsible for running the company's transactional finance processes with a focus on Accounts, with the prospect of future growth into payroll. You’ll be processing a high volume of supplier invoices, matching these to POs where possible, maintaining the Sales; by raising sales invoices on a monthly basis, reconciling these to the cash receipts received into the bank. Bank reconciliations and Employee expense processing.
This opportunity is suited to someone with good attention to detail and an organized approach. You’ll be able to spot discrepancies even when working with a high volume of invoices.
You’ll be matching, checking, and sending purchase invoices to the relevant persons for approval. Setting up supplier accounts, maintaining existing account details and completing reconciliation of supplier statements. Whilst maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You’ll have the ability to take ownership of systems and processes and making improvements where necessary. This position is part of a small team of 3 Accounts assistants therefore we are looking for someone with experience within a small accounting team. You’ll be adaptable, resilient, and a good team player that enjoys supporting your peers.
You’ll be confident, a quick learner and able to get to grips with complex processes quickly and have experience of working with pivot tables and look ups in MS Excel. Preferably you’ll already have your AAT qualification and be keen to develop and expand your skills further.
