To support the Strategy Partner / Strategy Director with developing the strategy on specific briefs for some of our key accounts.
You will be responsible for finding and presenting customer insights that change the way we approach our clients’ briefs. You’ll formulate marketing propositions and develop strategies to meet objectives and deliver impressive work for each account.
You will build measurable, logical and engaging customer experiences and journeys. The work with the wider team to deliver and evaluate your recommendations.
A hungry strategist; someone with knowledge and experience of the marketing and comms mix with a specialism in data, CRM and digital marketing.
You are someone who loves the craft of planning – getting to grips with consumers, culture and contextual influences on business. You are interested in human behaviour, culture and social trends, with an ability to turn data and your own research into the simple truths that inform your recommendations for the strategic direction of client work. Your experience means will be comfortable with recommending how data informs contact strategies, campaigns and creativity.
You are comfortable working collaboratively with clients, Client Services and other internal teams. You are a challenger, a collaborator, adaptable and decisive, articulate and have a get-it-done mentality. We like people who aren’t so arrogant they think they know it all, but confident enough that together we can get to the best solutions.
Be the customer champion - research; find and articulate the key motivators and ‘hidden truths’ that drive customers’ behaviour
Work with the Insight team to leverage our database Interact, and through analysis increase your customer understanding
Provide a fresh perspective – and working with the creative team, develop clear and motivating single-minded propositions
Then alongside your line manager, develop original, measurable marketing strategies that achieve the client’s business objectives
Develop business plans that clearly demonstrate the client’s expected ROI for the marketing strategies and campaigns you develop
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Planning experience in an agency environment
Creative, strategic and innovative thinker
Experience in data, direct and digital marketing
Skilled at using customer insight to deliver marketing strategies
Experience of briefing and working with data teams
Numeric and with excellent attention to detail
Experience of creating ROI models
Passionately collaborative – can work as part of many and varied teams
Strong presentation skills both written and verbal
