Job Description
  • Responsible for the physical trading of agricultural commodities from abroad to the Irish market
  • Developing and sustaining strong relationships with Clients across the Island
  • Manage key accounts, negotiate on their behalf, and resolving any issues
  • Acting at the main point of contact between local clients, international suppliers and internal teams
  • Analyze current market trends to identify new business opportunities, keeping a close eye on pricing, supply and demand
  • Work closely with members of the supply chain / logistics to ensure smooth execution
  • Compiling reports on progress, goals and forecasts
  • Developing a thorough understanding of client’s needs and sourcing those commodities

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong commercial trading experience – ideally within the agricultural sector
  • Proven ability in sales account management
  • Outstanding communication and networking skills is necessary
  • Excellent analytical skills and very capable of making very quick conclusions
  • Ability to bring dynamic insights to the team
  • Very capable of working in a fast changing environment
  • Excellent negotiation, trading and leadership skills
  • A relevant qualification
