The business is recruiting for an experienced Accounts Assistant to prepare year-end accounts from clients' records or our bookkeeping system. The successful candidate will be working with a variety of different clients from multiple sectors.
Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a practice as you will be required to manage a variety of workflows whilst confidently having direct contact with clients.
Responsibilities
Preparation of year-end accounts
Managing a wide client portfolio
Preparation of computerized records
Administration of manual records
Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
An individual who worked in an accountancy firm. Experience in using software platforms i.e. Iris, Sage, Excel. Administrative experience. Well-presented and approachable. Ability to multi-task under pressure. Organized with high attention to detail. Desired Skills and Experience. Ability to prepare Corporation Tax and Income Tax computations. Lots of practical experience dealing with a diversity of clients. Assist bookkeeping staff. Tax experience.
