Job Description
The Accounting Assistant will report to the Company Secretary and will assist in all aspects of financial and management accounting.Post holder will be involved in all modules of the finance system including postings of income and expenditure and code corrections to the general ledger, income and expenditure projections, budget monitoring and setting, reconciling all of all balance sheet codes ensuring errors are identified and rectified in a timely manner. Some input of payables and receivables information and invoices is required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Post holder will lead any workflow and training requirements liaising with all users of the finance system. Post holder will assist with statutory duties including compiling year end accounts, information to the Board, HMRC, ONS, Companies House and OSCR. The post holder will possess an HND in finance related discipline or have experience in use of financial & management information systems and of working in a finance environment.
