· A full understanding of accountancy, allowing you to engage with clients and their bookkeeping systems to produce draft accounts and draft corporation tax computations, using IRIS software and to include the following:

Bank reconciliations

Balance sheet reconciliations

Control of nominal ledger

Accruals and prepayments

Capital Gains

· A thorough knowledge on how to prepare quarterly VAT returns

· The ability to prepare monthly or quarterly management accounts for clients

· A track record in the preparation of a complete accounts file which supports the draft accounts they have prepared

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Last 7 years in employment, must have been within an accountancy practice. · Ability to build strong working relationships with other employees. · Ability to work to tight deadlines and priorities effectively in a fast paced environment. · Excellent administrative and organizational skills. · Experience of using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks and other cloud-accounting systems is essential. · Excellent attention to detail. · Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with a diverse client group. Experience: bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred).
