Job Description

Hours of Work:

Full Time - Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm + Four Saturdays per year.

£8.72 per hour (£8.00 per hour for under 20s) + Company Pension

Your role

As part of the customer services / sales team you will assist in order processing and dealing with customer enquiries via email and the telephone. As a small company that prides itself in offering great customer service candidates should have a positive can do approach to getting the job done as well as a good sense of humor.

Your role will also include inputting data to our website which involves listing and editing product descriptions. Full training will be provided however this role requires the candidate to have great communication skills both verbally and written. Good grammar and creative writing skills are essential

Whilst the role is primarily office based you will also be required to assist in the warehouse checking stock levels for customer enquiries and when required to help with stocking shelves and putting orders together to help take the pressure off our dispatch team.

Job Duties:

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries
  • Stay up-to-date on new products, services, and policies
  • Collect and report customer feedback to ensure that best practice is recognized and maintained
  • Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner while actively listening to their concerns
  • Offer support and solutions to customers in accordance with the company's customer service policies
  • Other duties as requested

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Be a positive and proactive person with a can do attitude. Organized and capable of working to deadlines to provide great customer service. Polite telephone manner and ability to build positive relationships with our customers & suppliers. Sales focused with customer first attitude. You must have basic computer skills: i.e. use of the internet, email software, be reasonably good with numbers and possess good keyboard skills. Ability to work as part of a team and unaided when required. Problem Solving ability. C (4/5) or Higher in English / Math. High school or equivalent. C or Higher in English / Math. High school or equivalent.Experience: Customer Service / Sales: 2 years (Required). Education: A-Level or equivalent (Required).
