Job Description
As an Agriculture & Property Trainee Accountant, you will learn how to provide a high-quality accounting service for our clients.
We’ll start you on accounts preparation from day one! The breadth and depth of work you will be exposed to will be much greater than many other practices, as we firmly believe in a rounded and exceptional client experience which you will quickly be involved in.
Some of your responsibilities will include
- Helping to prepare VAT returns and other ad hoc reports
- Preparing client accounts
- Liaising with clients via the telephone and drafting correspondence
- Preparing simple tax returns
- Identifying business advisory points for partners to raise with clients
- Monitoring own job quality and quantity in line with agreed budgets

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Whilst no experience is necessary, to be considered, you will need: To be eager to pursue a career in accountancy. At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade B/6 or above in Math’s and English. Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
