Key Responsibilities:
Timely and accurate financial transactional processing in the areas of:
– Purchase ledger
– Sales ledger
– Payroll
– Bank reconciliations
– Month end reconciliation and adjustment
– VAT returns
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
– Attention to detail – Ability to work to deadlines – Effective communication – at all levels – Team player – Ability to deliver customer service excellence – Reliable – IT literate – Good literacy and numeracy skills (equivalent to GCSE 5 in English and Math) – Experience and working knowledge in basic use of MS Office Excel – AAT studying or qualified by experience – Accounting software knowledge, preferably QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage – Relevant experience in a similar role
