Job Description

You will be responsible to the Finance Manager for the day to day financial administration across the organization. This will involve providing support with various tasks including Payroll, Sage 50 transactions, and the preparation of all supplier payments and staff expenses. This role is ideal for someone who is at an early stage in their accounts career or possibly someone returning to work, as on-the-job training will be provided as part of the induction to familiarize you with relevant systems.

Working within a busy team, you will be responsible for overseeing the billing process. Main duties will include:

  • Raising Sales invoices.
  • Preparing and sending out invoices.
  • Working with the internal teams to ensure accurate information is received to raise the invoices in line with work and hours competed and fees agreed.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for client queries on invoices
  • Preparing Excel reports for internal and external use.
  • Maintain the benefit decision notices process and procedures
  • Preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts.
  • Query resolution.
  • General Administration duties.
  • Complete other duties as requested by the Finance Manager.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Relevant accounting qualification(s), or the ability to demonstrate appropriate skills and knowledge. · Excellent numeracy skills & attention to detail. · Good verbal and written communication skills. · Good customer service skills. · Experience in maintaining spreadsheets. · Experience of Sage 50. · Commitment to Reliance Social housing CIC mission and values - desire to make a difference. · Proactive. · Team player. · Flexible, and willing to work in the constantly changing environment of a growing social housing provider which operates across the UK. · Conscientious and responsible. · Ability to support and enthuse others and maintain a professional image.
