You’ll be joining a committed Independent Fostering Agency with high ethical standards and a commitment to keeping children safe ensuring they are living in happy, stable foster families. With the support of an existing Administrator, you will:
Act as a point of contact for all telephone callers and visitors
Co-ordinate and book facilities and refreshments for meetings and events
Organize the distribution of agency welcome booklets, training programmes and other information
Request, follow up on and complete DBS checks, references and other documentation for the fostering F Form process
This is a part-time role, working three days per week.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
At least two years’ administrative experience. Experience of preparing professional documents in line with legislative requirements, generating spreadsheets, processing financial payments, filing and producing PowerPoint presentations. Proficiency in MS Office. An NVQ Level 2 qualification in Business and Administration (or equivalent experience). At a minimum, GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and math.
