Job Description

I am seeking a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant for a really successful manufacturing company in Hull. Candidates need to have strong management accounting skills and be able to provide ad hoc support to other areas of the finance function within the business when required. You will need good team playing skills, high levels of competence and the ability to meet deadlines. This is a permanent position and part of an existing established team

THE ROLE:

-This is a full all round management accounting role requiring strong analytical and investigative skills, a commercial focus and the ability to liaise effectively across all divisions of a business including production and sales
-You need to ensure the accuracy of all the financial information is maintained and support the completion of quarterly forecasts and annual budget
-Prepare and review month end packs, reports and undertake a wide variety of ad hoc duties including projects

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

-You need to be a CIMA/ACCA qualified accountant. Previous experience of manufacturing is desirable and a high degree of systems literacy essential. -You have an analytical and investigative mindset, always working with accuracy and efficiency and really enjoy working in an environment where a product is not only manufactured, but manufactured well -As with many manufacturing environments the ability to remain calm in a crisis is a very useful attribute to have!
