Job Description

You will play an integral role to support business decisions for planning, budgeting and analyzing financial results, whilst identifying improvement areas if required. Candidates should have experience of managing complex spreadsheets and have some experience of reporting. There are huge benefits of joining the Ferrero finance team. Main Responsibilities:

  • Alongside the traditional finance responsibilities which includes preparation of management accounts, month end and other ad-hoc financial information for the CFO, the Financial Controller will be responsible for identifying and implementing controls and procedures
  • Report on P&L KPIs in a weekly and monthly basis (e.g., Weekly Sales, P&L package…) for actual, budget, forecast and long-term plan.
  • Manage data analysis and reporting for presenting results to Areas / Key Stakeholders
  • Responsible for the budget process as it relates to operations including coordinating the completion of departmental spending budgets and development of gross margins
  • Prepare Financial Reporting package to include weekly Sales/Margin analysis and Net Working Capital components (Inventory, A/R, A/P and Capex)
  • Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team
  • Assessing and implementing process improvements across the finance team.
  • P&L management and balance sheet production and review, forecasting of revenue and costs
  • Build strong relationships with the broader finance, operations and commercial teams
  • Management of the finance department, including sales and purchase ledger and payroll
  • Participate in projects when needed

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge in using SAP, Hyperion Financial Management
  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant working experience within in a similair Financial Controller role
  • Previous experience with some Commercial Experience is a plus.
  • Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (Finalists will also be considered)
  • Detail oriented and able to multi-task with proven track record in problem solving
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible, able to work independently and under pressure with commercial and analytical mindset.
  • Good team player and effective in communication with different stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
