Job Description

This role will manage a team of 6 people, and require you to undertake all aspects of financial management, as well as develop internal control policies and procedures. You will take responsibility for the management accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and control of expenditure.
Responsibilities include:

• Leading 6 direct reports through all accounting operations including accounts payable and receivable
• Supporting with the implementation of a new ERP system and robust financial controls
• Taking ownership for the budgeting & financial forecasting
• Business partnering with key stakeholders across the business, supporting with driving revenues across the group
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements, coordinating the preparation of regulatory reporting in compliance with latest legislation
• Ownership of the management accounting, board pack and consolidation of the monthly P&L and balance sheet

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant, with experience working in a Finance Manager/Financial Controller role in a hospitality business. Experience leading a team in running the month-end process, with exposure to budgeting and business partnering is required. Strong technical skills, particularly financial controls, as well as a commercial and strategic acumen with an ‘into the detail, hands-on’ approach is key to the success in this role.
