Job Description

You will take full ownership of the group’s VAT requirements including Fiscal Rep / OSS reporting in the NL as well as periodic statutory requirements for the groups 14 legal entities in 10 territories. You will also be responsible for the groups’ short-term cash flow, banking facilities and managing multi-currency requirements on an on-going basis. You will need to be able to manage and coach the team as well as be hands-on providing support and cover as and when required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Have a minimum of 1 years’ PQE, preferable obtained in a similar role
• Have Strong technical accounting skills and a desire to remain fully up to date with best practice
• Have a good understanding of UK & European VAT treatment, returns, sales and intrastat
• Possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills, (minimum of pivot tables, vlookup and IF formula)
• Willingness to get hands-on and support team as required
• Effectively manage and develop a team in a pressured environment
• Understand intercompany transactions and transfer pricing
• Have strong attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure
• Possess great communication skills
