Key areas:
- Lead on developing and maintaining the organisation’s accounts structure in line with financial accounting standards to ensure improvement in financial management, and accurate internal and external reporting
- Deliver financial training to budget holders and heads of department to aid more effective and informed financial decisions
- Support projects relating to financial systems, working with IT to ensure the integrity of the general ledger
- Develop and maintain financial planning and budgeting systems
- Implement and maintain a process for monthly financial reporting to all stakeholders
- Prepare, design and produce management information for the business as required
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Knowledge and experience of working with IT based financial management, and financial accounting systems, to produce management information
- Strong communication and presentation skills
