Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Finance Operations Manager who, alongside managing the finance operations team will; Lead Revenue Services and Credit Control functions, support acquisitions through leading integration of subsidiaries and new entities into Finance Framework and be responsible for relationship with US Finance teams in relation to AP, Treasury and Billing

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Credit control and cash collection for the International businesses.
  • You will create targets for performance and performance metrics, introduce case management system, and streamline billing/revenue/AR processes and systems, driving adoption of Oracle AR.
  • In addition you will improve master data quality, and support the commercial needs of the business, whilst always seeking to minimize manual work around and process exceptions 
  • Financial Management and Control ensuring revenue reporting quality – liaising with the US Finance team who perform revenue reporting to ensure accuracy in the reported figures.
  • Analyse revenue flux on a monthly basis, ensuring variances at customer level are explained.
  • You will review, update and manage internal controls environment in relation to AR and banking.
  • Additionally play an active role in risk management, especially in reduction of aged debt and assist with Audit as required
  • Cash Management through effectively manage the company group Group: debtors, creditors and cash balances, manage transfer pricing processes each quarter with subsidiaries, monitor bank balances to ensure funds are adequate in each country/entity 
  • Oversee post deal Finance integration of new acquisitions and entities assisting with due diligence as required, supporting Oracle set up, bank set up, moving AP to US Team, AR to UK Ops Fin team as appropriate, moving bookkeeping to UK accounts team and payroll and International Payroll team. Appointment for tax/accounts preparation and for audit
  • Lead the Operations Finance team, setting SMART objectives, conducting performance and development reviews, coaching, feedback, training

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent – fully qualified
  • An operator with a track record of process improvement
  • Good excel skills and experience in leveraging ERP systems and processes
  • Ability to build relationships across the business, including Sales, the US finance team and with its customers and suppliers
  • Oracle systems experience preferred
  • Experience in integration of acquisitions preferred
