We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.
What will you be doing?

• Liaising with the Corporate Banking Sustainable Product offering for both new business and existing portfolio
• Supporting material P&L opportunities through Sustainability Arranger mandates, cross sales and other Group revenue opportunities
• Supporting execution and optimization of structured ESG portfolio transactions to meet Portfolio Management purposes and portfolio returns
• Understanding other business areas to up skill and drive ESG initiatives including marketing, delivering ESG content both internally and externally
• Working with the Group Sustainability, Citizenship team and other key stakeholders responsible for the reputational risk of the Corporate Banking Executive Forum
• Executing key strategies under Executive Forum sponsorship for all sustainable products

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth knowledge of the corporate lending and capital market environment, including experience of corporate financing, project financing and wider market dynamics
• Proficiency in management skills, ability to work in a small team as well as manage stakeholders from around Corporate & Investment Bank and the wider Group
• Financial knowledge, able to analyze and interpret financial accounts and ability to interrogate companies strategy
• Commercial acumen and business development skills, with the ability to make judgment based on sound and complex information
• Knowledge of macroeconomic factors affecting clients and the corporate debt market
• Track record in in pitching and negotiating with clients
• Internal and external network, including key stakeholders to the lending business
• Suitable professional qualifications and degree, masters preferred
