Job Description
We are looking for a highly competent and expert administrator who will enjoy working in a friendly, fast paced and dynamic office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Bursar’s busy diary, ensuring meetings are arranged with consideration for various priorities and attendees’ teaching timetables, as well as ensuring the most effective use of the Bursar’s time.
- Act as the first point of contact for staff, parents, and visitors to the Bursar’s office/Business Office.
- Organize internal and external meetings, booking appropriate rooms and/or venues. Ensuring the required equipment, catering, invitations, agendas and any reading materials are prepared well in advance.
- Attend meetings, taking accurate notes and action points and distributing agreed minutes promptly
- Plan, book and prepare any travel and accommodation arrangements as required
- Proofread documentation and letters
- Coordinate the Bursar’s files, ensuring effective and accurate filing of documentation both electronic and paper systems.
- Manage a variety of annual administrative tasks, providing reminders, as necessary.
- Provide administrative support to the Deputy Bursar on a daily basis in relation to HR
