The core job role will be to act as the first point of contact on the telephone or via email for patients, careers and health/social care professionals with queries regarding the Dietetic service.
You will need to be a kind and enthusiastic individual who enjoys a varied workload where no two days are the same.
Excellent organization and time management skills are essential for dealing with a varied and busy workload.
As part of the role you will be arranging clinics for patients in a variety of locations and assisting with other administrative duties as required.
With support and appropriate training, you will be working with the team to order home enteral feeding supplies/equipment and support with dietetic or tube/equipment related queries.

To take responsibility for ensuring patients are booked in Dietetic clinics in a timely manner.
To assist the Dietitians with the administrative work required to facilitate safe and timely discharge of patients from hospital requiring home enteral tube feeding (HETF).
With support and appropriate training, to have an understanding of HETF to be able to complete equipment orders and to collect basic dietetic and tube care information from service users or carers.
To efficiently use an electronic patient record, SystmOne, to produce letters and reports according to department procedure.
